Trump Heads To Katrina Land Or Doesn't He?

Trumpeting

Politics is this:

blowing your own horn loudly.

Trumpeting good news.

Grist for Trump's mill....

Will The Donald or won't The Donald make his own case on the US Government's handling of Katrina and its aftermath? Maybe he wants Candidate Jindal drawing votes from Jeb Bush. There is more for him to gain by Trmpercopting over the flood area while it is still in the news, and then saying how it should have been different, "and would have been," if only he, not Bush, had been president.

Trump has to take every opportunity, and Katrina is one of them, to keep flying the banner of "Dissatisfied!" whenever a natural opportunity such as Katrina and its aftermath presents itself.

Answer the question, Donald! State clearly why that horrible situation would have been governed better had a Trump, instead of a Bush or a Benghazi Clinton, been strolling the halls of Congress and the White House!

Keep your growing base fired up, and get them focused on the White House, because you need them as voters more than you need their attendance at rallies.

Americans are growing accustomed to your campaigning. At first it was a novelty, and everyone likes something different, especially with "more of the same" seeming to have been the daily fare before you came on the scene as a candidate..

We were curious what a TV tyrant and brash billionaire could do up against the contesting, seasoned politicians. Now we know you can throw some zIngers with the best of them, but the shift has to be made to such mundane political topics as the national debt, the country's growing elderly population, a fatigued military, an over-sized government bureaucracy, failing education, corporate greed, states' rights, the decaying infrastructure, and politics as usual.

Start grinding home some reasonable cures for some of those issues, but in the process keep on being The Donald, the real McCoy, the guy who doesn't mind speaking his mind.

Make us love you or hate you. The haters? Well a lot of them won't vote for anyone. The lovers? Those are the voters you need to win primaries and get elected president.

You might also stir up some interest and a helpful image, by starting the search for an oustanding and attention getting vice presidential candidate. Have a committee beat the bush (pun intended) for you. Advertise some personal one-on-one meetings with some "possibles." Ask for an internet polling to decide such questions as "Young or Old", "Male of Female", "Rich or Poorer", "Military or Civilian", "Etc. or Etc.".

You are a quick learner, organized, and outgoing, so get with it. You may be leading one side of the aisle but the footfalls and high heel clicks are still audible. You can keep them from getting louder, but only if and when you answer the remaining big question: are you really serious?
